About us

"Young EU-Russia" is an independent non-for-profit organization. Our main aim is to improve the current cooperation and dialogue between the young people from the EU and Russia, and Eastern European countries as well. In the framework of our activities we try to actively involve young people in the current cooperation processes between the EU and Russia in order to give them opportunity to participate in the development of the future for their countries.

We are working in the following dimensions:

1. Business cooperation (partner searching for young entrepreneurs, Young Business Forum EU-Russia, November 29-30, 2007).
2. Educational Mobility (development of the traineeships for EU young people in Russia and young Russians in European SME companies; Research partnerships between young scientists; student exchange to Russia and the EU; creation of network of young people who are interested in the EU-Russia relationship and plan to build career in this field).
3. Promotion of the young artists from the EU and Russia and modern art (organisation of the photo exhibition, interactive events, positive visions, etc.)

We are supported by: Russian Mission to the EU (Mr. Chizhov), Russian Embassy in Belgium (Mr. Lukov), European Parliament (Mr. Pöttering), Administration of St.-Petersburg, St. Petersburg International Festival of Social Advertising; East-South Finland and St.-Petersburg Growth Office.

We are interested in active people who believe in successful development of the EU-Russia relationship and who would like to contribute and participate in our activities.
