We are glad to invite you to join our next mission for EU Businessmen to Russia: At the VIII INTERNATIONAL ECONOMICAL FORUM FOR ENTERPRENEURS OF SMALL AND MEDIUM BUSINESS (Entrepreneur of the South of Russia: Innovations & IT), which will be held on 6-8 November 2008 in Rostov-na-Donu, Russia. This Forum is unique because it gives opportunity to participate in Russian Regional Investment and IT Fairs and Business Seminars, which demonstrate the potentials for international cooperation in such spheres as IT, Medicine, Research, Construction, and others.

Business Trip to South of Russia
In the end of July, Axana Pozdnyakova, Director of Young EU-Russia, made a business trip to Rostovskaya oblast: Novocherkask city, Rostov-Na-Donu and Chakhty. She was invited by NGO "InTechDon" (www.intechdon.ru ) which supports Small and Medium Russian companies specialised on Innovative products and IT. Most part of this companies are interested in cooperation with EU partners.
It was agreed to involve "Young EU-Russia" in organisation of the International Economical Forum in Rostov, November 6-8 in order to give opportunity for EU and Russian partners to establish business contacts.

We would like to invite youth NGOs from the EU and Russia to take part at the conference "SOCHI 2014: International, Cultural and Humanitarian dimensions", in Moscow 10-11 June 2008.
The short decscription is below:
Youth section ‘Olympic principles in the activities of the European and Russian youth organization’.
Youth organizations as an active part of the civil society can play a significant role in promoting Olympic values and principles in society. They can contribute greatly to creating the atmosphere of trust and fair cooperation in the light of the upcoming Olympic Games in Russia. This section aims to discuss projects ideas and cooperation strategies which will be implemented within the next few years by the representatives of the youth organizations in the context of the preparation for 2014 event in Sochi. Participants from different regions of Russia and from Europe will also share and discuss their views and suggestions of how to best turn Sochi Olympiad into a success story of international interaction. A memorandum of cooperation will be signed at the end of the discussion

Aviation EU-Russia
The conference "Aviation EU-Russia" was successfully hold at the European Parliament. On the second day participants visited Sabina Flight Academy and Sabca.

The first presentation of the Mission to St.-Petersburg
We made the first presentation on the Economic and cultural Mission to Russia for european participants of the business seminar organised by YES on the 9 of April in Antwerp. The interest was high because it is the first mission to Russia organized by the members of YES.

Aviation EU-Russia
Dear all!
We would like to inform you about the event "Aviation EU-Russia" which we will organise togather with Centre of Russian Business and FLAG. The event will take place on 15-16 May, first part of the conference will be hold at the European Parliament, on the second day participants will make several visits to the Belgian aerospace companies.
We would like to invite the Russian students to participate in this event as technical interpreters and at the same time to have opportunity to make contacts for future career.

Our new partner "U&M" (Successful and Young)
During the preparation of the EU-Russia Business Forum we started to cooperate with Russian programme "U&M" (Successful and Young http://ymnw.ru) and its main coordinator, Uliana Bortsova.
A few words about this initiative.
The programme "U&M" (Successful and Young) is aimed at support and development of the young entrepreneurship in St.-Petersburg and at involvement of the young people into the small and medium business. The main objective of the programme is to stimulate of young people for business activities, as the way for achievement of financial welfare, career growth and sustainable social adaptation.

Student Exchange
"Young EU-Russia" is now partners with "Student Travel Agency Baltic" (www.stabaltic.org) from St.Petersburg, Russia. Together we started to actively develop opportunities for youth traineeships! Students from the countries of EU find temporary placements in Russian companies, gaining experience and getting to know culture and mentality. Same process goes into the other direction as well. We are glad to expand the network of partners interested to promote understanding in the EU-Russia dialogue!
